This week, the girls participated in T.V. turn-off week . . well, we tried anyway. Jonah was really sick . . so he HAD to be a bit of a couch potato. Instead of watching T.V. one evening, we went to a "Read-In" at their school. They had transformed the gym into a "living room"-type atmosphere and we read books for an hour or so. Each child was able to pick out a brand new book to take home! The girls enjoyed sitting and reading books on the couches next to their teachers! It was a nice and relaxing change of pace. Another evening, we went to the Mingus Park Pool for a "free swim." Allison enjoyed the pool with her friends while Lindsey, Jonah and I watched her.
