One of my favorite things about living in Oregon, is getting to see wildlife so often. Recently, we had the chance to see a herd of elk roaming around our neighborhood! They were beautiful! One of the best parts about living in this particular neighborhood is....GREAT FRIENDS! We have the most awesome neighbors! The kids love playing with Hayley, Ophelia and Henry! We are so very blessed to have such great friends. In August and September, we like to go blackberry picking! There are so many areas around here which are overflowing with blackberries around this time of year. It is so much fun! We then make jam or freeze them whole for later in the year! The kids love to go fishing with Chad.....Allison had a few great fishing trips with her Dad....as you can see, she is becoming quite an experienced fisherman! Wow! She caught a huge salmon....what a great moment!
