Today, I took Lindsey and Jonah to the library. Coos Bay Library is a fun place to be. The two librarians in the children's section are wonderful! I just love when they do story time. They have such neat voices for storytelling. Lindsey got her very own library card today! Such a wonderful "first" in her life. :) She was able to sign her name on the back of the card ~ first and last name, all by herself. Then, we checked out books together. Jonah chose a huge book about fire engines. He had a hard time carrying it, because it was so big. Lindsey picked a small stack of books for herself and, always thinking about others, a Hannah Montana book for Allison. When we arrived at her Kindergarten class, she couldn't wait to tell her teacher, Mrs. Stockert, about her trip to the library. Her teacher winked at me and as we said our goodbyes :) Mrs. Stockert has a great love for the library and is an advocate for helping and encouraging families to go there often. She is a neat lady.
